Last week I participated in the travel fair Holiday World Prague.
The fair took place from 12–14 March 2026 in Prague.
I shared half of the stand with my friends from the magazines HarmonieLuxus and Andelske recepty.
For this fair I prepared something special.
I designed a new roll-up banner with the theme travelling with my backpack.
Because the space at the stand was limited, I also bought a beautiful practical rack to hang my backpacks.
The rack arrived only a few days before the fair.
So the evening before the event I was assembling it at home.
Late that night I carried everything to the car so I could leave early in the morning and install the stand.
The first day of the fair was only for professionals, not for the public.
Many people from the travel industry came, including several embassies.
On Thursday I also had a short interview on the stage at the fair where I spoke about my company and my handmade leather bags.
It was a nice moment to share the story of my brand and how the bags are created in our atelier in Prague.
The next two days were open to visitors.
Quite a few people stopped at our stand.
Many asked about customisation, colours and the story behind the bags.
Some visitors bought keychains, small wallets and little pouches as samples.
Now we will see what develops from the contacts in the coming weeks.
For me the whole experience was very positive.
Of course it was also exhausting.
Three long days at the fair, all the preparation before, and then packing everything again.
But I am very happy that I could be part of it.
Events like this remind me that behind every handmade brand there are real people, conversations and new connections.
About my backpacks
My backpacks are designed in Germany and handcrafted in our small atelier in Prague.
We use durable Italian leather and create colourful bags for everyday life and travel.
Each piece is made slowly, with attention to detail, in the spirit of slow fashion.
