A few years ago I was often flying to Canada.
I even had my handbags in two boutiques — in West Edmonton Mall and in Mission near Vancouver.
When I was in Canada in May 2017, my friend Debbie told me:
“Hey, what if you create a Canadian backpack for the 150th anniversary?”
And I said: “Yes, it sounds great!”
When I returned back to Prague, I created the Canadian bag design.
And only a few days later — the backpack was born.
In Prague I often have many business meetings.
And one day, on my way home from a meeting in the downtown, I saw an event happening on Žofín.
It was a gathering of many world Chambers of Commerce — USA, Canada, Germany, UK, Switzerland, Austria, France and many more.
So I stayed, I joined the event…
and I immediately signed up for the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
And just one week later — I was already in the Wallenstein Palace, Senate of the Czech Republic, at the official celebration of Canada 150.
And this backpack was there with me.
Every backpack I make tells its own story.
And this Canadian backpack is one of the most unforgettable ones. 🇨🇦💛
